All India Inter NIT Competition Wraps Up with Festive Ceremony

The All India Inter NIT Competition in Table Tennis, Chess, and Yoga concludes, celebrating winners and sportsmanship.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Athletics Ground of NIT Jamshedpur was the scene of a vibrant closing ceremony for the three-day All India Inter NIT Competition in Table Tennis, Chess, and Yoga, which concluded on February 4th at 4 pm. The event, distinguished by the presence of Dr. Bimal Kumar (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Seraikela Kharsawa, and Parul Singh, SDM, was a testament to the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The ceremony began with the traditional Chhau dance, setting a festive tone to welcome guests and celebrate the achievements of the participants.

Acknowledgment for the success of the competition was given to the organizing committee, led by Prof. AKL Srivastava, with the Executive Director, Dr. RV Sharma, commending their dedication.

Winners received trophies and certificates, a token of recognition for their prowess in Table Tennis, Chess, and Yoga, highlighting the competitive excellence fostered by the event.

The closing ceremony also featured insightful discussions, moderated by NIT students Simran and Aditi, adding an interactive dimension to the event.

A DJ night for participants rounded off the festivities, emphasizing the blend of competition and celebration that marked the successful conclusion of the event.

Notable attendees, including Observer Dr. Awadhesh Pratap Singh and Registrar Dr. Col. Nishith Rai, underscored the collaborative effort behind the competition, showcasing the unity and sportsmanship inherent in the NIT community.
