Loyola School Celebrates Class XII with Awards and Emotional Farewell

Loyola School’s Class XII students celebrate their graduation with a heartwarming ceremony featuring awards, songs, and reflections on Jesuit values.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Loyola School’s graduation ceremony for the Class XII students culminated in a deeply moving rendition of the school song, symbolizing the end of their journey and the start of a new chapter.

This final act followed the distribution of several prestigious awards, including the AIWC Award for Social Service, Achievement Award, Vineet Soni Memorial Award, Alan Cherry Award, The Gyan Prakash Trophy for Girls for All Round Excellence in Plus Two, T.A. Gabba Award, The Bhattacharya Pursuit of Excellence Award, and The Loyola Award, all celebrating the students’ comprehensive development.

The lighting of candles by teachers, representing the transition from ignorance to knowledge, added a symbolic touch to the proceedings.

Fr. Vinod Fernandes, the Principal, offered his congratulations to the graduating students, encouraging them to live by the Jesuit principles they’ve been taught.

Certificates, souvenirs, and special awards were presented, acknowledging the students’ all-around achievements during their time at Loyola.

The school choir’s performance added a melodious backdrop to the event, reflecting the emotions of the day.

A teacher and a student led the assembly in prayer, contributing to the ceremony’s reflective atmosphere.

Fr. K.M. Joseph S.J, the Rector, initiated the event with a welcoming speech, setting the tone for the celebration.

The academic procession, spotlighted by Prahlad Nair, preceded the traditional lighting of the lamp by the school’s management and class teachers, signifying the start of the ceremony.

The event was a mix of prayers, valedictory speeches, songs, and mixed emotions, marking a memorable day for the graduating batch as they marched through the school, embodying both pride and responsibility.
