JAMSHEDPUR – The BJP’s youth wing organized a torch rally in Jamshedpur to protest against the Hemant Soren government’s alleged anti-youth policies and corruption.
Thousands of party workers participated in the rally, which started from the district BJP office in Sakchi and concluded at Sakchi Shaheed Chowk.
Protesters chanted slogans against the state government, accusing it of neglecting youth interests and breaking promises.
The rally was led by BJYM district president Nitish Kumar, with senior BJP leaders in attendance.
Sudhanshu Ojha, BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President, criticized Chief Minister Hemant Soren for failing to fulfill election promises.
"The government has promoted corruption in major examinations, destroying the future of hardworking students," Ojha stated.
He announced that preparations for the upcoming "Youth Outrage Rally" in Ranchi on August 23 are in their final stages.
Ojha declared, "This rally will be historic. The youth’s fight this time will be decisive."
BJYM district president Nitish Kumar noted the enthusiasm among Jamshedpur’s youth for the upcoming rally.
"CM Hemant Soren hasn’t fulfilled a single promise made to the youth," Kumar asserted.
He added that the government’s indifference has prompted young people to prepare for the next assembly elections.
The protesters accused the state government of betraying the youth and compromising their dreams and future.
They highlighted unfulfilled promises, including job creation and unemployment benefits.
The BJP leaders called upon the youth to join the August 23 rally at Morabadi Ground to "bid farewell" to the current government.
