JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Medical Services Division has successfully inaugurated the 43rd edition of the All India Steel Medical Officers Conference (AISMOC 2024), marking a significant assembly of medical professionals.
The conference, graced by Tata Steel Vice President Chanakya Chaudhary as chief guest, unveiled the AISMOC Souvenir, TMH Clinic, and TMH Newsletter, highlighting the event’s commitment to medical excellence.
Dr. Soumyadeep Chatterjee addressed the critical topic of syndromic testing in pneumonia and bacteremia patients, reflecting the conference’s focus on acute medical challenges.
A pro-con debate session enriched the conference, featuring leading medical heads from various steel plants discussing contemporary medical themes, including the merits of integrative medicine and the impact of robotic surgery.
The symposium on The Golden Hour featured Dr. Maander M Shah and other experts, emphasizing timely care in cardiac, sepsis, stroke, and trauma scenarios, underlining the conference’s holistic approach to emergency medicine.
Three guest lectures by renowned specialists, including Dr. Sanjay Pandey, Dr. Sukesh Nair, and Dr. Anup Kumar, offered deep insights into gender reassignment, abnormal bleeding, and genetic counseling.
