Champai Soren Directs Timely Completion of Tribal Welfare Schemes

Honorable Minister Champai Soren reviews Integrated Tribal Development Agency schemes in Jamshedpur, emphasizing on timely completion and mutual coordination for effective implementation.

SERAIKELA – Champai Soren, the Transport Minister, recently led a review meeting in Jamshedpur, focusing on the schemes run under the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (Welfare Department).

The meeting took place in the Collectorate auditorium, with the presence of District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Shri Ravi Shankar Shukla, Project Director ITDA Shri Sandeep Kumar Duraiburu, and other departmental officials.

Minister Soren instructed that all schemes should be completed within their stipulated timeframes to achieve their intended goals.

He highlighted the importance of mutual coordination among departments for improved progress in scheme implementation.

The schemes reviewed included initiatives for Dhumkudiya, Manjhisthan, Tribal Art Center, and the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme.

Minister Soren expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of some schemes, urging officials to overcome technical and other obstacles.

He emphasized that the district’s economy heavily relies on these government schemes and their effective execution.

Soren stressed the need for stringent action against any negligence in the implementation of these schemes.

The meeting also focused on the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, aiming to engage eligible beneficiaries in self-employment opportunities.

Minister Soren called for widespread publicity of these schemes to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries can avail of the government welfare schemes.

The meeting saw attendance from various officials, including the District Welfare Officer, Nagar Panchayat officials, and junior engineers, underlining the comprehensive review of the tribal welfare initiatives.
