Jamshedpur Gears Up for Grand Republic Day Parade
Preparations Underway for Republic Day Function at Gopal Maidan, Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur is buzzing with preparations for the Republic Day celebrations, with rehearsals for the parade in full swing, reflecting the city’s commitment to a grand national event.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city is actively preparing for the upcoming main Republic Day function, scheduled to be held at Bistupur Gopal Maidan on January 26th.
Under the guidance of Sergeant Major Dharmendra Ram and Ranjit Kumar, the parade’s meticulous rehearsal process is taking place.
In a display of discipline and coordination, the full dress rehearsal is set for January 24 at Gopal Maidan.
The Deputy Commissioner and Senior SP will jointly oversee the crucial full dress rehearsal.
This event marks a significant moment for the district, showcasing the efforts of various platoons and teams.
Participants include one platoon of JAP-6, two of the District Police Force, one from the Auxiliary Police, and one of the District Home Guard.
Additionally, two platoons each from the NCC (boys and girls) and the Scouts and Guides are contributing to the parade.
The rehearsals, which commenced at Golmuri Police Line Ground, included a band party and a national anthem team, adding a musical element to the proceedings.
These rehearsals will move to Bistupur Gopal Ground on the 23rd and 24th of January, following initial sessions at Golmuri Police Line.
The participation of nine platoons in the first day’s rehearsal underscores the event’s scale and significance.
