Jamshedpur Court Orders Sealing of Subarnarekha Project Houses Over Unpaid Dues

Court orders the sealing of two Subarnarekha Project houses due to the unpaid dues to Royal Engineering. The decision follows a lawsuit filed by the company owner, Anoop Kumar Rai.

JAMSHEDPUR – Anoop Kumar Rai, proprietor of Jamshedpur Royal Engineering, was embroiled in a legal dispute with the Department of the Subarnarekha Project.

Rai undertook canal work for the project in 2034, but alleged non-payment by the department.

As a result, the owner of Royal Engineering took legal recourse, lodging a case in the Jharkhand High Court.

Today, the Jamshedpur Civil Judge Senior Division issued an order to seal two houses, numbered 1 and 2, of the Subarnarekha Project.

Following the court’s order, a team arrived on-site to execute the sealing of both houses.

Anup Kumar Rai, expressing his frustration, claimed that despite completing the work, the department refused to pay, instead demanding a large sum of money.
