RANCHI – Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended Christmas celebration at Archbishop House in Ranchi.

His wife Kalpana Soren accompanied him to the event. She represents Gandey constituency as elected MLA. Moreover, the celebration marked Christ’s birth anniversary traditionally.

The Chief Minister received blessings from infant Jesus. He participated in darshan ceremony at the venue. However, cake cutting ceremony celebrated Lord Jesus’s arrival joyfully.

Archbishop Vincent Aind welcomed the Chief Minister upon arrival. The religious leader greeted him at Archbishop House entrance. Furthermore, mutual Christmas greetings were exchanged between dignitaries.

Both leaders wished each other festive season happiness. Christmas blessings were shared during their interaction. Besides, the meeting strengthened interfaith harmony in the state.

Fathers from multiple institutions attended the celebration. Bishop House representatives were present at the event. In addition, Manresa House clergy participated in festivities.

Sadbhavana institution sent its religious representatives to gathering. St. Xavier’s College fathers joined the Christmas celebration. Moreover, Albert College clergy also attended the joyous occasion.

The celebration brought together Christian community leaders statewide. Religious harmony was emphasized during the festive gathering. However, the event showcased cross-community participation in celebrations.

Previous Christmas meetings between CM and Archbishop occurred earlier. The Chief Minister regularly extends festive greetings to communities. Moreover, Christian delegations have met with state leadership before.
