RANCHI – Jharkhand’s sixth Legislative Assembly commences with diverse linguistic representation and strengthened ruling coalition.

The session began with tributes to martyrs. Moreover, ministers took oaths in regional languages.

“People’s overwhelming support drives our commitment,” states Minister Deepika Pandey Singh.

Assembly Composition

The house now has 81 members. Meanwhile, JMM holds the majority with 34 seats.

BJP secures 21 seats. Furthermore, Congress maintains 16 representatives.

Ministerial Portfolios

Ministers receive key responsibilities. In addition, they pledge development commitments.

Regional languages mark oath ceremonies. Besides, constitutional values guide proceedings.

Political Landscape

Four parties have single representatives. However, independent MLAs are absent this time.
