16 Jamshedpur schools battle in three categories at DBMS Kadma High School

JAMSHEDPUR – The prestigious Jyoti volleyball tournament kicked off at DBMS Kadma High School.

The event marks its 10th anniversary this year. It continues to promote school sports.

Moreover, the tournament spans three divisions. These include +2 Boys category.

Meanwhile, High School Boys also compete separately. Girls have their dedicated category.

Furthermore, volleyball has deep roots in Jamshedpur. The city produced several state players.

The tournament follows international volleyball rules. Each match has qualified referees.

Additionally, DBMS Kadma maintains professional volleyball courts. These meet competition standards.

On the other hand, previous tournaments discovered talent. Many participants joined district teams.

The opening ceremony saw distinguished guests. District Sports Officer Avinesh Tripathi hoisted the flag.

Meanwhile, Fr. Pravin Jose graced the occasion. He serves as Jyoti Coordinator.

Principal Gurpreet Bhambra welcomed the participants. Vice Principals attended the inauguration.

Furthermore, this tournament builds young talent. “Sports shape character,” remarked a senior coach.

The competition continues until December 7. Teams aim for championship glory.
