Hemant Soren, Jharkhand’s Chief Minister, extends warm Christmas greetings to the state, emphasizing the festival’s spirit of happiness and mutual harmony.
RANCHI, December 24 – On Christmas Eve, the Jharkhand Christian Youth Association, along with Bishop Siman Tirkey of the GEL Church, met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Ranchi.
The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road, was a heartfelt exchange of Christmas greetings.
Hemant Soren conveyed his Christmas wishes to the people of Jharkhand, highlighting the festival as a time for sharing happiness and fostering mutual harmony.
Soren’s message of goodwill underlines the festival’s significance in bringing people together.
“I extend my congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on the occasion of ‘Christmas’, said Soren.
The delegation included notable figures like Congress MLA Rajesh Kachyap, Bishop Seemant Tirkey, and Sujit Kujur, the chief patron of the Jharkhand Christian Youth Association.
In a separate event on Saturday, Soren met with Ranchi Archbishop Felix Toppo, describing Christmas as a festival of excitement, enthusiasm, and happiness.
This meeting took place at the Archbishop House on Purulia Road, where Soren viewed the image of child Lord Jesus.
Archbishop Felix Toppo also extended his Christmas greetings to the Chief Minister.
During his visit, Soren prayed for peace, happiness, and prosperity for the state’s residents.
These interactions underscore the inclusive and celebratory spirit of Christmas in Jharkhand, reflecting the state’s commitment to communal harmony and joy.
