BJP’s Dinesh Kumar Lauds Local Karate Champion in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur’s Shobha Pathak, a recent bronze medalist at Federation Cup 2023, receives accolades and support from BJP leader Dinesh Kumar, reinforcing the city’s growing sports culture.

JAMSHEDPUR – Dinesh Kumar, a prominent BJP leader, recently extended his support and recognition to Shobha Kumari Pathak, a local karate talent.

Pathak, who hails from Turiyabeda, Jamshedpur, secured a bronze medal in the Senior Level Open Tournament for the 18+ age group at the Federation Cup 2023.

The event took place at Khelgaon Stadium in Ranchi, organized by the All India Karate Do Federation.

Pathak’s coaching and training were overseen by Rajesh Kumar Mohanty.

The young karateka’s accomplishments were celebrated during a courtesy visit to Kumar at his Tuiladungari Gadhabasa residence.

In this meeting, Kumar presented Pathak with a bouquet, a shawl, a copy of the Bhagwat Geeta, and a picture of Dharti Aaba Birsa Munda as tokens of honor.

Acknowledging Pathak’s success, Kumar expressed his pride in her achievements and conveyed his best wishes for her future endeavors.

He also committed to continue promoting a conducive sports environment in Jamshedpur, ensuring athletes like Pathak receive the support they need.
