Jamshedpur hosts the grand opening of Domuhani Sangam Mahotsav 2024, marked by cultural performances and environmental awareness, featuring eminent personalities and local talents.

JAMSHEDPUR – The grand opening ceremony of Domuhani Sangam Mahotsav 2024 was held in Jamshedpur, showcasing a blend of cultural richness and environmental consciousness.

MP Vidyut Varan Mahato, along with other dignitaries including Manoj Kumar Singh of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Zilla Parishad member Kavita Parmar, and Mahant Vishwambhar Das Maharaj from Ayodhya, inaugurated the event.

Prominent local figures such as Jharkhand Kshatriya Sangh President Shambhu Nath Singh, and patrons Shiv Shankar Singh and Kanhaiya Singh, also graced the event.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by honoring the guests.

Ravi Prakash Singh, Chairman of the Hindu Utsav Committee, conducted the program, while Sonu Thakur of the organizing committee delivered the welcome speech.

In a seminar focused on the environment, Kavita Parmar emphasized the significance of water sources in the development of civilizations, highlighting the city’s own history along the Swarnarekha river.

Manoj Singh, with his extensive experience in environmental matters, stressed the importance of self-preservation efforts.

The event featured a mesmerizing Chhau dance performance, setting the stage for further cultural showcases.

Pandit Abhishek Pathak, the program’s brand ambassador, was honored and captivated the audience with his singing.

Arun Dev Yadav, another brand ambassador, delighted the crowd with his melodious voice, and Sonu Dularua concluded the event with a folk song performance.

This celebration not only highlighted the region’s cultural heritage but also brought forward crucial discussions on environmental preservation.
