Jamshedpur Railway Illegal Scrap Business Unravels

Notorious Criminals Arrested in Railway Scrap Case, Police Vigilant

In a significant crackdown on illegal railway scrap dealings, Jamshedpur’s Railway Police have apprehended two notorious criminals, seizing approximately two tonnes of stolen railway goods. The ongoing investigation targets a larger network involved in this illicit trade.

JAMSHEDPUR – Railway Police’s vigilant efforts have led to a breakthrough in a major railway scrap scandal in Jamshedpur.

Officials report that the criminals, identified as Mohammad Salauddin alias Raja and Mohammad Kalim, were arrested in the Rammadaiya Basti area under Adityapur police station’s jurisdiction.

Both individuals are known residents of Jamshedpur’s Jugsalai locality.

The arrest yielded about two tonnes of railway scrap, highlighting the scale of the illegal operation.

This bust is part of a larger investigation into the widespread trade of railway scrap in Rammadaiya colony.

Due to its location near the railway line, this area has become a hotspot for unloading and disposing of railway goods disguised as scrap.

Police are currently intensifying their search for the gang leader, believed to be central to this illicit trade.

The proximity of Rammadaiya colony to the railway line facilitates the easy unloading and disposal of railway goods between Jamshedpur and Adityapur.

Railway Police are maintaining a close watch on the situation, signaling a robust response to curb these illegal activities.
