70th Shri-Shri Pahadi Puja Mahotsav Kicks Off in Railway Loco Colony

Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi Inaugurates Week-long Festivities with Community and Leaders

The 70th annual Shri-Shri Pahadi Puja Mahotsav, held under the banner of the Loco Recreation Club, began on April 25 in Railway Loco Colony, Jamshedpur, with local MLA Mangal Kalindi leading the inaugural ceremonies.

JAMSHEDPUR – The cherished Pahadi Puja, a tradition since 1954, was inaugurated with prayers for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the community.

The week-long event will feature daily devotions to Devi Ma, culminating in a vibrant city tour and a spectacular farewell complete with fireworks and a tableau on April 30.

MLA Mangal Kalindi, speaking at the event, highlighted the significance of such cultural and religious gatherings in promoting unity and social harmony among the residents.

The opening ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries including Zila Parishad President Bari Murmu and Vice President Pankaj Sinha, who expressed their support and participated in the festivities.

The Pahadi Puja Mahotsav remains a focal point of the community’s annual celebrations, drawing participation from across the locality to honor their cultural heritage and communal bonds.
