Adityapur’s Water Crisis: Delegation Seeks Swift Action

Adityapur’s Water Supply Woes: Delegation Meets AMC Administrator

Adityapur’s pressing water supply challenges take center stage as a delegation, led by ex-vice president Purendra Narayan Singh, presents a plea for urgent action to Adityapur Municipal Corporation Administrator Alok Kumar.

ADITYAPUR – The Adityapur-2 residential area is grappling with a severe water shortage, a situation brought to the fore during a recent meeting with Adityapur Municipal Corporation (AMC) Administrator Alok Kumar.

Former Adityapur Municipal Council Vice President Purendra Narayan Singh led the delegation, which included educationist SD Prasad, RJD state secretaries Dev Prakash and Santosh Kumar Yadav, and others.

They presented a memorandum outlining the urgent need for improved water supply, emphasizing the failure of private borings in the area.

Residents, facing water scarcity, have increasingly relied on municipal corporation-supplied hand pumps and tanker services.

Singh highlighted the efforts of Jindal in installing a new water supply pipeline under a centrally sponsored scheme.

This initiative has seen significant progress in areas like Saldih Basti, Manjhi Tola, and RIT Society, with water meters installed in almost all houses.

The delegation underscored the near completion of the main pipeline and door-to-door supply lines in Adityapur-2.

Administrator Kumar, upon hearing the concerns, promised to take appropriate measures to address the water crisis.
