Bokaro Girl Seeks Aid From CM After School Exit

Key Points:

  • Student forced to quit school over unpaid fees
  • Appeal made to CM Hemant Soren and district officials
  • Girl expresses dream of becoming an engineer

JAMSHEDPUR – A financially struggling student from Bokaro has appealed to authorities for help to continue her education.

A student named Priya Kumari has sought assistance from Jharkhand Chief Minister and district officials. She lives in Sector 4/G of Bokaro and belongs to a poor family.

However, she said her studies stopped due to financial hardship. She had been studying in a private school earlier.

Meanwhile, her father suffered a severe road accident. His injury affected the family’s income significantly.

Moreover, she could not pay school fees after the incident. This led to her removal from the school.

On the other hand, she claimed the school denied her exam opportunity. She said she was not allowed to appear for Class 8 exams.

However, she also alleged mistreatment by the school principal. She said she was sent back despite visiting again.

Meanwhile, she has appealed to Hemant Soren and the district administration. She requested financial help to resume her studies.

Moreover, she expressed her ambition to become an engineer. She said her family’s condition has made even basic needs difficult.

In contrast, her appeal comes amid discussions on women’s reservation in Parliament. Her case highlights ongoing educational inequality issues.

Meanwhile, education rights remain a major concern in rural areas. Many students drop out due to economic challenges.

Moreover, government schemes aim to support such students. However, awareness and access remain limited in several regions.
