Four Killed in High-Speed Car Crash in Ranchi, Postmortem Underway

A devastating car accident in Ranchi results in four deaths, with the vehicle colliding at high speed with an electric pole near Booti More Chowk.

RANCHI – In a tragic turn of events, Ranchi’s Bariatu Basti residents, all in their thirties, have succumbed to a fatal road accident.

The car, reportedly traveling at high speed, lost control and met with a catastrophic accident around 1.30 am.

According to Laxmikant, the Sadar police station in-charge, the vehicle’s impact with the electric pole was so severe that it shattered into three parts.

The accident, which occurred in the Sadar police station area of the city, tragically claimed the lives of all four passengers.

Following the accident, the victims were rushed to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), but were unfortunately declared dead upon arrival.

Laxmikant emphasized the grave nature of the incident, noting the vehicle’s excessive speed as a contributing factor.

The police have launched a thorough investigation into the accident and have sent the bodies for postmortem to determine the exact cause of death.

This incident, occurring late at night on the route from Booti Mod Chowk to Dumardaga, has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Residents of the capital Ranchi are mourning the loss of four of their own in this heart-wrenching accident.
