Lucknow: Before the advent of New Year, CM Yogi has given a big gift to the youth who are looking for a job in the police.

Principal Secretary Home has been instructed to give relaxation of three years in the age limit of the candidates in police recruitment this time.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave instructions to DGP and Principal Secretary Home regarding relaxation in age limit for constable recruitment in UP Police. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board will soon issue order for age relaxation in constable recruitment.

According to the notification issued by UPPRPB, a total of 60,244 posts of constable will be filled in UP Police, the application process of which will start from December 27, 2023. However, there are many candidates who were disappointed with this notification.

Let us tell you that applications have been invited for UP Police Constable Recruitment after 5 years, in such a situation, those who have been preparing for years are now overage. His demand from the government was that he should be given relaxation in age limit. Let us tell you that the age limit for this recruitment should not be less than 18 years, but more than 22 years.

In this recruitment process, relaxation has been given for other castes, but there was no relaxation of any kind for 6 candidates of the same category. Candidates were busy preparing since 2018. After 2018, now the police recruitment notification has been issued, regarding which the candidates were demanding that the government should increase the age from 23 years to 25 or 26 for general category people.

About 62 thousand boys are to be recruited in the police in Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh. He says that when we were preparing since 2018, the recruitment has not been done till now. When the recruitment came out, we were overage. He had also demanded that the government should have given relaxation of up to 3 years to us common people, so that our future does not go into darkness.
