Andhra Temple Celebrates Vaikuntha Ekadashi with Grandeur
Lord Vishnu’s Garuda Ride Marks Vaikuntha Ekadashi at Andhra Temple
Vaikuntha Ekadashi at Andhra’s Shri Ram Mandiram sees Lord Vishnu in a majestic Garuda procession.
JAMSHEDPUR – Vaikuntha Ekadashi was celebrated with great fervor at Andhra Bhakta Shri Ram Mandiram, featuring Lord Vishnu’s grand appearance.
The deity, adorned with Chennai-sourced flowers, was showcased in a spectacular Garuda procession.
Beginning in the morning, the temple conducted Tomal Seva, a floral decoration ritual led by Pandits Sheshadri Ji, Keshavacharyalu Ji, and Santosh.
An uninterrupted 24-hour "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" Akhand Kirtan was initiated at 8 AM, creating a spiritual ambiance throughout the temple.
In the evening, devotees participated in a parikrama with Lord Shri Venkateshwara Balaji on the Garuda vahana, passing through seven Vaikuntha gates.
Amidst chanting of "Om Bhagwate Vasudevaya Namah" and "Govinda Govinda", the temple premises echoed with devotion.
A special performance of Kolatam, a traditional South Indian dance, was led by Mrs. Hemlata with 40 women devotees.
The event concluded with the distribution of Prasad, marking a blend of spiritual and cultural celebration.
Hundreds of devotees and temple officials gathered for this auspicious occasion, highlighting the community’s deep-rooted devotion and cultural heritage.
