Shambhu Gope Sentenced to Seven Years for Attacking Aniket Sirka
In a recent court ruling, Shambhu Gope of Chaibasa was sentenced to seven years in prison for a knife attack on Aniket Sirka, marking a significant verdict in local criminal justice.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Principal District and Sessions Court of Chaibasa has delivered a decisive judgment against Shambhu Gop, convicting him of a serious knife assault.
This sentence stems from an incident that occurred on September 6, 2022, when Gop entered the residence of Aniket Sirka in Joraposi, Kumardungi, at the early hour of 5:30 am.
Gop, fueled by allegations of mobile theft, launched a violent attack on Sirka using a knife, causing grave injuries.
The police, upon investigation, gathered substantial evidence leading to Gop’s conviction.
Following thorough judicial proceedings, the court imposed a seven-year imprisonment term and a fine of Rs 20,000 on Gop.
This case, originating in the Badi Bazaar area under the Chaibasa Sadar police station, has culminated in a significant verdict, reflecting the justice system’s commitment to addressing violent crimes.
