City’s Schools Radiate Festive Spirit Ahead of Winter Vacation

Jamshedpur’s schools celebrated the festive season with enthusiasm, embracing the spirit of Christmas with decorations, carols, and acts of generosity on the last working day before the winter break.

JAMSHEDPUR – Schools across Jamshedpur marked the lead-up to Christmas with heartwarming celebrations, transforming campuses into festive wonderlands.

Decorations featuring Christmas trees, bells, stars, and snowmen set a joyous tone, with students contributing to the festive ambiance.

Christmas carols like “Jesus Born Today” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” filled the air, coupled with vibrant song and dance performances.

A special highlight was the depiction of Jesus Christ’s birth in a specially erected hut.

Santa Claus’s arrival, distributing gifts and candies, added to the excitement among children.

However, the true spirit of giving was reflected in the students’ actions as they distributed essentials like soaps and stationery to the less fortunate.

Prominent schools like Carmel Junior College and St. Mary’s English School also hosted similar celebrations, with staff dressed as Santa Claus adding to the fun.

A teacher from Sacred Heart Convent School reflected on the deeper meaning of the celebrations, emphasizing happiness and generosity.

A student highlighted the inclusive nature of the festival, pointing out that the joy of Christmas transcends religious boundaries.

The celebrations in Jamshedpur’s schools not only marked the festive season but also reinforced the values of joy, inclusivity, and generosity.
