Mystery Surrounds Discovery of Youth’s Body in Jamshedpur River

Youth’s Dead Body Found in Kharkai River, Awaiting Identification

JAMSHEDPUR – A wave of concern spread in Jamshedpur on Tuesday afternoon following the discovery of a young man’s dead body in the Kharkai river near Shastri Nagar block number three, under the jurisdiction of the Kadma police station.

Local residents alerted the Kadma police upon finding the body on the riverbank.

The body was subsequently retrieved from the river and sent to the post-mortem house for examination.

Initial observations suggest that the body could be three to four days old.

Currently, the dead body remains unidentified.

Police have cross-checked with lists of missing persons from nearby police stations, yet no matches have been found.

There is speculation that this could be the body of a youth who reportedly jumped from the Bistupur Chhota bridge recently, although no formal complaint was filed in that case.

Police efforts are ongoing to identify the deceased.
