JAMSHEDPUR – The body of an unidentified woman was discovered in the Kharkai river near Kadma police station on Sunday, causing a sensation in the area.

People who went to the riverbank for bathing spotted the body floating in the water.

Upon being informed, the police arrived at the scene, retrieved the body from the river, and sent it for post-mortem.

The woman is estimated to be around 30 years old.

The police are actively working to identify her.

Authorities suspect that the woman may have committed suicide by jumping into the river.

According to the police, the body appeared to be two days old.

The police are questioning nearby residents in an effort to gather information about the woman.
