Residents living along the riverbank first noticed the body floating in the Kharkai river and alerted the Kadma police station.

Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and, with the assistance of fishermen, retrieved the body.

After conducting the necessary legal formalities, the body was sent to MGM Hospital for preservation in the cold storage.

The body appears to be 4-5 days old, indicating it may have floated from another location.
