Decomposed Body Found in Babudih, Police Investigating

A decomposed body was retrieved from the Swarnrekha River in Babudih, sparking a police investigation to identify the deceased.

JAMSHEDPUR – Early Sunday morning, the discovery of a dead body in the Swarnrekha River at Babudih Lal Bhatta, under the jurisdiction of Sidhgora police station, has prompted an immediate response from local authorities.

Upon being alerted by local residents who spotted the body, Sidhgora police and divers were quick to retrieve it from the river.

The body, which is in a state of advanced decomposition, was found dressed in a black T-shirt and black half-pants, and is estimated to be of a man around 40 years old.

Currently held in cold storage, efforts are underway by the police to establish the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the death.
