Gamharia’s XITE College Enhances Data Management Skills with Workshop

XITE College in Gamharia conducted a two-day workshop on "Data Analysis" to bridge the skill gap in data management jobs.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Department of Economics at XITE College, Gamharia, organized a comprehensive two-day workshop on “Data Analysis” from December 30 to January 1, 2023.

The workshop aimed to enhance the necessary skills among students and address the existing skill gap in the market for data management jobs.

The event kicked off with an introductory speech on data analysis by Dr. Sanchita Gosh Chowdhary.

This was followed by a session on data sources and collection methods led by Dr. Radha Mahali.

For the day’s closing session, Dr. Kumari Anamika, Assistant Professor from The Graduate School College for Women, Jamshedpur, spoke on “Managing Statistical Data” and its real-world applications.

The second day was marked by a hands-on practical session conducted by Dr. Rajesh Kumar Rana, focusing on Excel skills and data analysis techniques.

The workshop successfully provided students with insights into data gathering, recording, presentation, analysis, and interpretation.

It also aimed to empower students with the skills needed for conducting research projects in their future academic endeavors.
