Jharkhand Minister Distributes Pensions and Blankets Amid Cold

Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta took a compassionate step by distributing blankets and pension certificates to 635 beneficiaries in Kadma, addressing the cold weather challenges.

JAMSHEDPUR – Addressing the needs of the elderly and widows in Jamshedpur, Health Minister Banna Gupta distributed blankets and pension acceptance certificates to 635 beneficiaries in Kadma, under the Sarvajan Pension Scheme.

This initiative, held at Gupta’s Kadma office, ensures the start of pension benefits for these individuals.

The distribution event was marked by the presence of several local figures, including Sanjay Tiwari, Manoj Jha, Babua Jha, Baban Shukla, Prabhat Thakur, Majid Akhtar, Irshad Haider, Amit Kumar, Tula Dr, Bishu Dr, Rakesh Jaiswal, Sanjeev Jha, Rajesh Gorai, Ravi Dubey, Dhannu Mahato, Sukumari, Jitendra Singh, Sonti Rajak, Jai Prakash Sahu, Sarabjit Singh, Rajkumar Das, Ujjwal Guha, Bharat Garhwal, Sumit Thakur, Shilpi Chakraborty, Ashok Singh, Hari, Manas Giri, and Dinesh Poddar.

During the event, Gupta expressed concern over the increasing cold weather, prompting the distribution of blankets along with the pension certificates.

This gesture of care and support comes at a crucial time, as winter’s chill affects many, especially the vulnerable elderly and widow population.

The Sarvajan Pension Scheme, a Jharkhand Government initiative, is instrumental in providing financial security to these groups.

His supporters said that Gupta’s involvement in this event highlights the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens, particularly in addressing their basic needs during harsh weather conditions.
