Late-night blaze destroys vendor’s kiosk in Bistupur, Tata Steel fire crew extinguishes fire, cause unknown.

JAMSHEDPUR – A vendor’s kiosk, popularly known as a Gumti, in the Dhatkidih block under Bistupur police station, caught fire late Sunday night near Ibrahim Hotel.

Tata Steel’s fire crew was promptly alerted and arrived at the scene to battle the blaze.

After a strenuous hour, the fire was successfully extinguished.

The incident was immediately reported to the police.

Currently, the cause of the fire remains a mystery, with police investigations underway.

The fire resulted in the complete destruction of the kiosk’s contents.

The owner of the kiosk, identified as Haider, has estimated his losses at around Rs 1.5 lakh.

The police are conducting an investigation to ascertain the cause and prevent future occurrences.
