JAMSHEDPUR – At the Janata Darbar, DM Manjunath Bhajantri swiftly responded to Marine Drive residents’ concerns about encroachment on government land.

The zonal officer received immediate orders to investigate and halt the illegal construction reported by the residents.

Complaints from Jadugora about a cigarette-gutkha shop near Rankini temple prompted the DM to direct the Potka Circle Officer to rectify the issue.

Residents from Bishtupur raised an encroachment problem near their homes, leading to the formation of a special team for site inspection and stringent action against violators.

A Sonari resident’s complaint regarding the disconnection of electricity and water supply was investigated, with assurances of resolution in accordance with the rules.

The DM’s proactive approach in the Janata Darbar involved forwarding applications to relevant departmental officers for time-bound action.

Issues presented by the public were acknowledged by the District Magistrate, who assured appropriate measures in response.
