Jamshedpur – Responding to the call of MLA Shri Saryu Roy, BJMO workers celebrated Dev Diwali at the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple (Birla Temple) in Golmuri Cable Town on Kartik Purnima. The event saw the lighting of 1001 lamps, with MLA Saryu Roy himself participating and lighting the first lamp. The temple complex was brilliantly illuminated, symbolizing a revival of the once-deserted temple.
Saryu Roy reflected on the transformation of the temple, which used to be isolated and overlooked. He noted the increasing community participation in events and the growing belief in the temple’s significance.
Acknowledging the changing perceptions about the temple, he expressed optimism for its future and the increasing faith of the people.
Saryu Roy also shared his commitment to completing the temple’s construction, aiming to establish it as a grand structure in the community.
Local citizens expressed their appreciation for MLA Saryu Roy’s initiative in revitalizing the temple.
The lamp lighting ceremony was attended by a host of dignitaries and local residents, including Hareram Singh, Subodh Srivastava, Manoj Singh Ujjain, Ajay Sinha, and many others, marking the occasion as a significant community event.
