POMS Conference: A Confluence of Global Minds

XLRI Jamshedpur is set to host the POMS India Chapter Conference 2023, drawing over 300 delegates from across the globe. The three-day event will witness discussions on sustainable development, with contributions from top-tier institutes and industry leaders.

JAMSHEDPUR – The prestigious POMS India Chapter Conference 2023 has chosen XLRI Jamshedpur as its venue.

With participation from global academics and industry experts, the conference will delve into innovations for sustainability. A diverse array of 160 papers will be showcased.

The focus will be on fostering scholarly collaboration and exploring innovations to drive global sustainable changes. Sessions will tackle carbon neutrality, ESG in supply chains, and technological solutions for operational challenges.

Father S George, XLRI Director, emphasized the conference’s significance for supply chain management and environmental conservation. The event aims to contribute substantially to achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

Key highlights will include panel discussions on carbon emission reduction, diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and the digital supply chain. A research workshop by Professor Vinod Singhal and a lecture by ITC’s Vediraj Kulkarni on carbon emissions are among the featured events.

With 15 industry leaders sharing insights, the conference is poised to be a melting pot of ideas shaping the future of sustainable development.
