Jamshedpur Durga Puja: District Officials Inspect Durga Puja Immersion Ghats

Deputy Commissioner and SSP Review Preparations for Idol Immersion at Swarnarekha Ghat, Ensure Tight Security and Amenities

Top officials oversee immersion ghat facilities, setting guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe Durga Puja idol immersion process.

JAMSHEDPUR – District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Kishore Kaushal conducted an inspection at the Swarnarekha Ghat in Mango for the upcoming Durga Puja idol immersion.

They reviewed various administrative arrangements at the ghat including lighting, barricading, and cleanliness.

During the inspection, directives were given to ensure that devotees do not face any issues on the day of immersion.

Mr. Bhajantri emphasized the need for Super Zonal and Zonal Magistrates to coordinate with nodal officers for any necessary adjustments in arrangements.

He insisted that preparations from the idol site to the immersion route must be completed in advance.

Specific guidelines were provided for divers, life jackets, ambulance services, medical teams, and CCTV surveillance.

Mr. Kaushal urged devotees not to venture into deep waters, citing potential risks to life.

Both officials appealed for cooperation in maintaining law and order during the immersion process.

Various senior officials, including City SP Mr. Mukesh Lunayat and SDM Dhalbhum Mr. Piyush Sinha, were present during the inspection.
