Child Falls into irrigation canal while Playing; Declared Dead at Ghatshila Hospital

One and a half-year-old child falls into the irrigation canal while playing, taken to Dumaria CHC and then Ghatshila sub-division hospital, where the child is declared dead.

JAMSHEDPUR – A heart-wrenching incident occurred when a one and a half-year-old child drowned in an irrigation canal.

The child, who was playing near the canal, accidentally fell into the irrigation drain.

Family members and bystanders immediately reacted and took the child to Dumaria Community Health Center (CHC) for urgent care.

The child was then sent to Ghatshila sub-division hospital for further medical attention.

Tragically, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, the doctor at the hospital declared the child dead after a thorough investigation.

The incident has left the family in shock.
