Soil of Martyrs’ Land Sent to Delhi for Memorial Construction

Ranchi Honors Martyrs’ Families, Sends Soil for Delhi Memorial at Amrit Mahotsav Closing

Soil from the homes of martyrs in Ranchi collected for a memorial in Delhi as part of Meri Mati Mera Desh program under Amrit Mahotsav celebration.

RANCHI – Ranchi marked a significant event today in the Children’s Park in the capital.

As part of the closing ceremony of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, Meri Mati Mera Desh program was inaugurated, honoring the families of the brave martyr jawans and freedom fighters.

An officer of the corporation, Dr. Kiran, elaborated that this program is in line with the directives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He revealed that Amrit Vatika is being constructed inside the park, where relatives of the martyrs will plant hundreds of saplings.

Furthermore, the soil of these heroes is being sent to Delhi with the Amrit Kalash, where a memorial will be erected.

The soil has been collected from Panchayat levels in Bundu, Khunti, Lohardagga, Simdega, and Gumla and will be sent to Delhi.

The wife of Rajesh Kumar, martyred in Latehar, expressed pride in the honor bestowed upon her husband, noting that her soil, brought from Munger district in Bihar, will be sent to Delhi for the memorial.
