Modi’s Intention is to Change the Constitution, Says CPI ML GS

CPI ML National General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya highlights concerns over Modi’s intention to change the Constitution while addressing media in Ranchi.

RANCHI – Describing the Constitution as a colonial product, somewhere or the other, Modi has an intention to change the Constitution, said Dipankar Bhattacharya, CPI ML National General Secretary while addressing the media at the party office in Ranchi today.

Independence Day was celebrated all over the country on 15th August, but the present condition of the country is very worrying and disappointing.

Even after the lapse of 4 months, peace has not yet been restored in Manipur, peace has not returned.

The eight-member team was on a tour of Manipur from 10th to 14th.

The team visited each and every affected area and camp there and later revealed that even the minimum required facilities are not available in the camps.

And in the monsoon session of the Parliament, the opposition brought a no-confidence motion so that Prime Minister Narendra Modi could come to the Parliament and give a statement.

But did not come to the house.

Somewhere this shows the hatred they have towards the Parliament, said Bhattacharya.

Many things came to the fore from the speech given and the way the chairperson of the Economic Advisory Council Chairman Vivek Debroy came up with a column in which she talked about changing the constitution.

Since he called it a colonial product, it is somehow clearly showing his intention that he is talking about changing the constitution itself, Bhattacharya said.
