Seraikela District All Set for Independence Day Celebrations at Birsa Munda Stadium

Seraikela-Kharsawan district is all set for the Independence Day celebrations with Tribal Welfare cum Transport Minister Champai Soren to hoist the flag at the local Birsa Munda Stadium.

SERAIKELA – Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration has completed all preparations for the Independence Day function at the district headquarters on August 15.

The DC and other officials took stock of the preparations on Sunday and issued necessary instructions.

On Independence Day, the national flag will be proudly hoisted at Seraikela district headquarters by the Tribal Welfare and Transport Minister Champai Soren..

The main program of the district will be held at the local Birsa Munda Stadium where Tribal Welfare cum Transport Minister Champai Soren will unfurl the national flag at 9:10 am at the scheduled time.

The district administration conducted a full dress rehearsal on Sunday under the leadership of DC Ravi Shankar Shukla and the SP Dr. Vimal Kumar.

The DC and other officials took a close look at the preparations for the Independence Day celebrations.

During the inspection, the Deputy Development Commissioner Praveen Kumar Gagrai, Project Director ITDA Sandeep Kumar Duraiburu, Additional Deputy Commissioner Subodh Kumar, Seraikela and Chandil Sub-Divisional Officers, General Branch Deputy Collector Priyanka Priyadarshi, District Public Relations Officer and senior officials of all departments were present.

During this, preparation of drinking water, mobile toilets, presence of fire fighting vehicles (with team), presence of medical team, etc. was reviewed at the main program venue along with the cleanliness of the municipal area.

Independence Day Program Schedule:

Deputy Commissioner Residence- 08:30 AM, SP Residence- 08:45 AM, Main Function Venue Bhagwan Birsa Munda Stadium, Seraikela – 09:10, Collectorate Complex- 10:15, SP Office – 10:30 AM, Police Line – 10:55 o’clock.

In a message, the DC Ravi Shankar Shukla said that in order to prepare for “Independence Day”, necessary guidelines were given to the officials for the successful organization of the program by inspecting the last rehearsal at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Stadium Seraikela in view of the district level program.
