GM of JBVNL Pledges Reliable Supply of Energy in Kandra

Commitment by JBVNL’s GM to provide reliable energy in Kandra and quick resolution to issues at Substation 3, Feeder No. 6.

GAMHARIA – Shravan Kumar, General Manager of JBVNL, reaffirmed the commitment of the energy Department to its customers in his statement, promising to make every effort to provide a reliable supply of energy.

The General Manager directed the Executive Engineer to call neighboring electricians, junior engineers, and assistant engineers of the Electricity Department to the office on Friday.

Additionally, the region has been provided with 10 ABB switches, 50 poles, and cables. A contractor has been hired for Kandra and Feeder No. 6, who will complete the maintenance on wires and poles within two weeks.

In a meeting with the GM of the JBVNL, exasperated residents of six Panchayats under the jurisdiction of the Kandra police station, including Honi Singh Munda, a former Sarpanch of the Kandra Panchayat, Ram Mahato, a social worker, a former Deputy Sarpanch, Anil Singh, a senior journalist, and Ranjit Modak, discussed issues at Substation 3, Feeder No. 6. Shravan Kumar reassured the delegation that all problems would be rectified quickly.
