Free Health Camp Organized by Former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar
Community Benefits from Health Checks and Government Scheme Assistance
Former MP and Congress leader Dr. Ajoy Kumar organized a free health check-up camp at the primary school in Zone No. 8, Birsanagar on Sunday.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Sunday, former MP and Congress leader Dr. Ajoy Kumar organized a free health check-up camp at the primary school in Zone No. 8, Birsanagar.
A large number of residents from the area availed themselves of the health check-up services.
After the examinations, patients were provided with necessary medications free of charge.
In addition to health checks, the camp also offered assistance with various government schemes of Jharkhand, such as old age pension, widow pension, disability pension, ration card, and Aadhaar card updates.
Dr. Ajoy Kumar also educated attendees about health and highlighted the state government’s schemes.
"It is encouraging to see people taking care of their health despite the scorching heat," Dr. Kumar said.
Approximately 247 people had their health checked, while 483 forms were filled for various government schemes.
The camp was organized by Ajitesh Ujjain, founder, and Shashi Bhushan Prasad of the Jan Kalyan Seva Foundation, also a Congress leader.
They announced that such service camps would be held every Sunday in different localities of the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency.
