JAMSHEDPUR – Local police conducted a successful operation near Hansagari Fatima Mosque in Damdubbi, leading to the arrest of three suspects and seizure of illegal firearms.
The Kapali outpost police initiated the operation based on confidential intelligence about suspicious activities.
Initially, law enforcement detained Sheikh Samir, also known as Sheikh Saday, near the mosque premises.
However, detailed interrogation of the first suspect led to the arrest of Arbaz Ansari.
Moreover, a search of Arbaz’s residence in Damdubbi Ansar Nagar yielded an unlicensed loaded pistol.
In addition, authorities recovered two live rounds of ammunition and a mobile phone during the raid.
Furthermore, based on information from the detained suspects, police apprehended the third accused, Afak.
Meanwhile, Kapali OP in-charge Sonu Kumar confirmed that senior officials had authorized the operation.
Consequently, all three suspects underwent thorough questioning by the investigating team.
