Three arrested in Subhash Munda’s murder, revealing significant developments in high-profile case.

RANCHI – The murder case of land trader and CPI (M) leader Subhash Munda, who was gunned down on July 26 on Daladili Ring Road in the capital Ranchi, has been cracked after about 8 days.

Ranchi police have arrested three criminals, including the shooter, recovering many sophisticated weapons.

The murder of the prominent leader had led to tremendous public outrage and tribal organizations called a Ranchi bandh the day after the incident.

Probing the Case

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to investigate the murder.

The SIT’s research finally unveiled the developments surrounding the case.

The Senior Superintendent of Police in Ranchi disclosed the main motive behind the murder was tied to land business.

The Arrests and the Motive

The associate of the deceased Subhash Munda, also involved in land business, had orchestrated the murder through two shooters.

These two shooters and another accused involved in the murder have been apprehended, and the police continue to conduct raids to arrest other criminals associated with the murder.

The apprehended accused are Chhotu Khalkho alias Chhotu Oraon, Vinod Kumar alias Kanhaiya, and Abhijeet Kumar Padi.

The murder plot was orchestrated over 119 decimals of land worth crores of rupees.
