Sambhav NGO’s Green Initiative: 50 Trees Planted at Jamshedpur Co-operative College

Sambhav NGO contributes to the fight against environmental pollution by planting a variety of saplings at Jamshedpur Co-operative College.

JAMSHEDPUR – Members of Sambhav, a local social organization, recently engaged in a tree-planting initiative at Jamshedpur Co-operative College.

Smt. Sarika Singh, President of Sambhav NGO, informed that this initiative is a crucial step towards curbing environmental pollution and mitigating the effects of shrinking rainfall periods.

She emphasized that issues such as drought and insufficient rainfall could be addressed more effectively through large-scale tree planting.

In the current age, deforestation for urbanization and industrialization is rapidly disrupting the natural balance of our environment, leading to the escalation of grave environmental issues like soil erosion, global warming, and the greenhouse effect.

To combat these challenges, Smt. Singh called for treating tree planting as a movement to protect environmental factors.

Accordingly, 50 diverse saplings were planted within the premises of the Co-operative College.

The planting event was graced by several members of the organization, including chief patron Shri Bharat Singh, President Sarika Singh, Vice President Anjula Singh, Secretary Suchitra Rungta, Manjurani Singh, Rajesh Kumar, and Rajesh Singh.
