Jamshedpur Preps for 76th Independence Day Celebrations

Jamshedpur gears up for 76th Independence Day festivities; honors for outstanding citizens part of event.

JAMSHEDPUR – Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, on Thursday, held his first formal meeting with officers of the district since assuming the role.

The meeting focused on preparing for the upcoming 76th Independence Day celebrations.

Like previous years, the main event will be held at Gopal Maidan, stated the Deputy Commissioner.

Awards will be presented to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their respective fields.

Guidelines pertaining to the Independence Day event have been disseminated to all the officers.

Additionally, cultural programs will commence at the Town Hall from 6:00 pm on the day of the celebrations.

The theme of these cultural events will align with the spirit of Independence Day.

As for the chief guest of the Independence Day celebrations, the Deputy Commissioner mentioned it will be determined following directives from the government.
