Authorities Recover Crucial Evidence in Knife Attack Case

Bokaro police arrest 27-year-old man in connection with fatal stabbing of Manish Kumar Das, recovering key evidence and unraveling motive behind the crime.

BOKARO – A suspect has been apprehended by Bokaro police following a deadly knife attack in Jhirki Ravidas Tola, Kathara OP area.

The incident, which occurred on August 5th, left Manish Kumar Das with severe injuries.

Local authorities responded promptly, rushing the victim to Kathara Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Despite their efforts, medical professionals declared Das deceased upon examination.

Following a statement from the victim’s father, Yugeshwar Ravidas, Kathara OP registered a murder case under number 82/2024.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Bokaro’s Superintendent of Police assembled a special investigation team led by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Bermo.

The team’s rapid response resulted in the arrest of 27-year-old Vinod Ravidas, son of the late Shivnath Ravidas, from Hosir Goria Tola in the Gomia police station area.

During questioning, the accused reportedly revealed a motive related to a personal dispute with the victim.

"Our investigation uncovered a complex relationship between the suspect and the deceased," stated a senior police official involved in the case.

Forensic experts have collected crucial evidence from the crime scene, including blood-stained weapons, clothing items, and fingerprints.

The successful operation involved various police officials and armed forces, who participated in the raid leading to the arrest.
