Jamshedpur’s Devika Singh Appointed National President of Mahila INTUC
INTUC’s National Organization Secretary Devika Singh has ascended to the role of National President of Mahila INTUC, promising to uphold the responsibilities and expectations that come with the position.
JAMSHEDPUR – Devika Singh, previously INTUC’s National Organization Secretary, has been appointed as the National President of Mahila INTUC.
The announcement came from Dr. G. Sanjeeva Reddy, the National President of INTUC, who also instructed Singh to form the Central Committee immediately.
Singh expressed her gratitude towards Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy and General Secretary Sanjay Singh for her nomination, stating her commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities that accompany the prestigious role.
She also thanked Rakeshwar Pandey, the State President of INTUC, and Raghunath Pandey of the Metal Federation for their support.
Hailing from a politically active family in Dhanbad, Singh relocated to Jamshedpur following her marriage to SK Singh, an engineer at Tata Group.
She began her association with INTUC in 2000, serving in various roles such as the Treasurer in the TRF Union, Deputy President in the BOC Union, Organization Secretary in INMF, and Vice President in the National Committee in Mahila INTUC.
With her new appointment, Singh will now handle the highest position within the Mahila INTUC.
