Jamshedpur Parents Association Honors SDO Parul Singh for Facilitating Student Re-examinations

SDO Parul Singh Recognized for Advocating Retests for 2000 Students

In a meaningful expression of gratitude, the Jamshedpur Abhibhawak Sangh honored Dhalbhum Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Parul Singh and other education officials for their critical support in arranging re-examinations for failed students.

JAMSHEDPUR – The recognition follows a significant educational issue where around 2000 students from classes 9th and 11th at private schools did not pass their exams.

Concerned parents vigorously appealed to school administrations and relevant authorities for a chance at retesting, aiming to secure their children’s academic progression.

While initial responses from some schools were resistant, the combined efforts of the Education Department and the persistent advocacy by SDO Parul Singh ultimately led to the approval of re-examinations for the affected students.

In a ceremony, members of the Jamshedpur Parents Association presented a bouquet to SDO Singh, expressing their heartfelt thanks for her decisive role in preventing a potential setback for 2000 students who otherwise might have had to repeat the year.

This event highlights the community’s appreciation for responsive and effective leadership in education administration.
