Tata Motors Workers Union Discusses Resumption of Bus Service for Employee's Daughters and Other Issues

The general meeting of Tata Motors Workers Union was held on Wednesday, where a range of daily issues was discussed, including the resumption of the company’s bus service for the employees’ daughters.

JAMSHEDPUR – The general meeting of the Tata Motors Workers Union concluded on Wednesday.

The gathering focused on various day-to-day challenges faced by the employees. General Secretary RK Singh revealed that Tata Motors‘ bus service, discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been reinstated for the daughters of employees attending college.

Employees interested in utilizing this bus service for their daughters can get their passes by reaching out to the union’s committee member and Tata Motors’ administration.

In addition, the Pragati scheme will once again be open to all permanent and temporary employees wishing to study for a diploma. Notices concerning this opportunity will be released shortly.

During the meeting, a decision was made to undertake a security audit across various divisions. The union’s president, general secretary, and committee members, along with the safety committee, will identify security-related issues.

They plan to discuss potential solutions with senior officials. Furthermore, a committee meeting has been scheduled for July 28th to continue discussing these matters.
