Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi advocates for girls’ education and addresses local infrastructure issues, reinforcing his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents.
Jamshedpur – Demonstrating exemplary commitment to his constituency, Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi has been incessantly working towards providing assistance to underprivileged boys and girls who aspire to pursue their education.
On Monday, in a laudable move, he facilitated the admission of nine girls from various panchayats of the Jugsalai Assembly Constituency in the Tinplate Union Women’s Inter College.
These students include Saraswati Mahato, Laxmirani Mahato, Ashtami Mahato, Kavita Mahato, Preeti Gagarai, Payal Soren, Shibani Lohar, Chanda Samat, and Ashtami Mahato.
MLA Kalindi underscored the significance of girls’ education for their holistic development and progress.
Revealing that he has helped 17 girls secure their admission so far, he encouraged needy students to reach out to him, ensuring them his full support.
Education, as per MLA Kalindi, is crucial for everyone’s future.
The occasion also saw the presence of Rajat Prasad, Sunil Gorai, and members of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Union Committee.
Furthermore, MLA Kalindi has been keenly involved in addressing local infrastructure issues.
He paid a visit to Makdampur locality under the South Kalimati panchayat of Jamshedpur block.
He inspected a major drain that had been blocked due to recent rains, causing water to seep into people’s homes.
Understanding the seriousness of the issue, MLA Kalindi promptly promised to get the drain cleaned at his personal expense.
In another instance, he responded to complaints about water accumulation on Gauri Shankar Road in the Jugsalai Municipal Council area.
He visited the site with local JMM workers and directed city council officials to elevate the road and widen the drain to prevent water logging.
MLA Kalindi even participated in the drain cleaning process himself, truly embodying his commitment to serving his constituency.
