According to Advocate TN Ojha, women are worshiped as goddesses in the civilizational culture of India.
The incident of women’s dignity being ripped off in that country is really very sad and condemnable.
According to women advocates, be it Manipur, Rajasthan, Bihar, Bengal or any other part of the country, this type of incident should not be tolerated.
But the reports of frequent incidents of violence in Manipur are worrying and disturbing the civil society.
If the administration and the state governments are incompetent, then in such matters the President herself being a woman should intervene.
According to Advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu, in Delhi’s Nirbhaya case too, the advocates, showing solidarity, had sent a demand letter to His Excellency the President through the district administration and this time the initiative taken by the advocate sisters is commendable.
According to advocate Bhavesh, black badges have been put up in protest against the Manipur incident, if anyone wants to protest against the Rajasthan West Bengal incident they can do so too, but everyone should stand up for the dignity and rights of women.
