JAMSHEDPUR – A father has allegedly killed his own minor daughter over a domestic quarrel in Bedadar village under the jurisdiction of Bada Bazar police station in West Bengal. The area adjoins the borders of East Singhbhum.
The injured girl was rushed to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur where the doctors pronounced her dead.
The appalling incident unfolded in the Bada Bazar police station area of West Bengal, where Bharat Mahato, a laborer, is reported to have lured his daughter into his room before fatally attacking her.
The victim, a ninth-grade student at the local government school, suffered a violent death at the hands of her own father on Monday morning, around 10 to 10:30 am.
Following the attack, the injured girl was rushed to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur, but tragically, she was declared dead upon arrival.
Preliminary investigations suggest that a heated dispute over an unspecified issue escalated into a deadly confrontation, culminating in the father slitting his daughter’s throat with a knife.
